Weekend Wellness DISH TOWEL WORKOUT

Hope you are enjoying your Memorial Day Weekend! We have a great workout for you today! Are you stuck inside during the cold weather? Want a workout for when you’re gym is closed?  Here is a workout using only a dish towel! There are no excuses in exercise. Use your surroundings. Create your own success.

DISH TOWEL WORKOUT

1. Plank Foot Slides

Place dish towel under one foot slide foot in and out for one minute. Repeat on other side.

2. Plank Hand Slides

Place dish towel under one hand and slide hand in and out while in a plank position for one minute. Repeat on the other side.

3. Two Foot Plank Slides

Place both feet on dish towel. Slide feet towards chest and then return. Repeat for one minute.

4. Leg Abduction Slides

Stand with legs shoulder width apart. Place one foot on towel and slide foot away from body and then return to start for one minute. Repeat on other leg.

5. Bridge Two Foot Slides

In a bridge position, plce both feet on the dish towel and slide feet towards back and return to start. Repeat for one minute. Maintain flat back throughout exercise.

And that’s it! Repeat this 8 minute circuit three times with one minute rest between sets for a great half hour workout! And don’t forget, there are no excuses in exercise. Use your surroundings. EARN YOUR BODY
