Take A Breath Tuesday: Easy at Home CARDIO Workout

Is your at home workout a snooze??


Well most likely you are right! We are here to give you a few tips to spice up your at home workout as well as give you a place to start!

According to azcentral.com, there are several ways you can amp up your at home work out. First, workout with someone else! Not only does this make working out more fun, but you also have someone to help motivate you as you motivate them.  Another great tip is to compete against yourself. Don’t get stuck in the same old routine day in and day out. Set goals or use apps that create goals for you! A final great tip from azcentral is to be a kid again.  Think of childhood games or activities that you loved and try them again!


Here is a workout involving a DECK OF CARDS.


How it works:

Step 1: Find a deck of cards with 52 cards (sometimes this is harder than you think!)

Step 2: Assign each suit to an exercise.

Example:  Diamonds>Tuck Jumps;  Hearts>Burpees;  Clubs>Jumping Jacks;  Spades>Mountain Climbers

Step 3: Shuffle cards. Draw a card one at a time and the number on the card is the number of reps you do of each exercise.

Example: Draw a Queen of Diamonds and do 12 Tuck Jumps

You can even turn this into a game set up teams, time each other through the deck, change up the exercises (this can also be a strength workout), or come up with your own variation!
