Take a breath…Yoga is for everyone


Words from one of our yoga instructors at Focused Fitness:

I always say that strength without flexibility is pointless. The way you feel after a workout that includes the stretching, asanas (Yoga poses), and breathing that a yoga class delivers is incredibly satisfying; your body feels as if it has been awakened.  Yoga is good for arthritic pain, back pain, neck pain, people who are pregnant, people who are recovering from surgery or just need to decompress. Yoga is both relaxing and challenging. Anyone of any skill level can do it. If nothing else, you will walk out of class at least a little bit more flexible. And trust me, you will never regret taking an hour out of your week to try a different type of workout that will only make you feel better. —-Julie James
